Please note the work at the kennels is physically very demanding, the dogs at kennels are often large with little or no lead training. We work in all weathers. We do a lot of cleaning which involves lots of moving of lightweight to medium weight items and lots of bending.  You will need to be prepared to work in the area of current need although we can sometimes accommodate specific preferences.

Our kennels uses volunteers from 8am until 1pm 10am – 12 or 1pm, 6pm to 8pm

Here are some of the things you might be asked to do in the kennels

Cleaning, cleaning, cleaning,

Keeping up with the washing, drying and putting away

General tidying up

Exercising the animals

We have all types of animals, dogs, cats, rabbits and other small furies, reptiles and birds.
