May 2017 The kennel staff have been challenged to raise £5,000 towards BARK funds within 6 months. This will be in addition to any funds raised by our normal fundraising activities. Over the next 6 months our plan is to try different fundraising ideas and ask you to do the same. There are so many things we want to do to make life that little bit better for the animals. Once we reach our target then the fun bit deciding what we can do will begin. Thank you If you want to donate to please see

Cornhill Summer Fair will take place on 8th July, 11 am – 5pm, in the grounds of the Old Vicarage.  There will be a quirky dog show, a duck race, plant and book sale, cakes, wine and beer, BBQ, Have a go Archery, Woodland Walk and I Spy game for the children.  A fun day out for all the family.  Free Entry

Well the girls form Strathmore Caravan Park have finished. Please consider donating (to either BARK or Cancer Research) – details below

Well we have just completed with a 20 mile final day. What kept us going was the charities we were doing it for. Jayne & Steph for BARK (Berwick Animal Rescue).

Just think of all the abandoned animals who didn’t ask for the life they’ve had filled with misery and abandonment. They reach BARK and are given the love, affection and right home they deserve.

Angela’s Charity Cancer research and we just kept thinking of the bravery that patients go through with Chemotherapy and Radiotherapy and all the continuous hospital visits and drugs. Close to our hearts as my Mum is still fighting Cancer and thankfully is still here and Jaynes Dad who lost his battle 2 years ago.

Please donate if you can as the pain we’ve felt this week is nothing compared to the Abandoned Animals and people fighting that dreaded disease Cancer.

Come on people we’ve walked 96 miles (Diversions) But for people and animals fighting it’s far more complete.

To support BARK

or to support Cancer research

Thank you (and girls you are stars!)

Stephanie, from Strathmore Caravan Park and Shepherds Huts, is walking the length of Hadrian’s Wall (84 miles) in October this year. Raising funds for BARK, she hopes to achieve the walk in 7 days, walking between 12 and 15 miles a day over varied terrain and levels of difficulty.    Stephanie can be sponsored via her Total Giving Page
