Edward was born around July. Since coming in we have been concerned about him and sadly he has been diagnosed with a grade 5 heart murmur. He has had a heart scan and this has shown anomalies in his heart including and enlarged right chamber and thickening on the left side. There is also a possible hole.

Sadly this means for this lad his life is likely to be very limited, less than a year, although we hope to be proved wrong. If he goes into heart failure while he can start on medications cats do not respond like dogs and will not survive long after starting any meds.

Edward is just lovely, so friendly and loving. He has moments when he enjoys playing, cuddling and investigating his water bowl.

Any home will need to be realistic about Edwards life expectancy and that is a big ask. He is not currently neutered, under vet advice, but it may be this can be done at a later stage.
