Rocko

Rocko came in as a stray and although an owner has been (sort of) found they feel they can no longer cater for his needs.

Rocko is the sweetest of boys around 4 years old and gets on with everyone. He has had his cherry eye operated on, twice as the first operation failed, and is now ready to look for a new home.

Rocko has dry eye and will not tolerate having drops put in, a new owner will need to be dedicated to helping him try to get over his fear of the drops bottle so he can be more comfortable throughout his life, this isn’t something that will be quick to happen but slow and steady progress.

Rocko is a sweet boy although a bit choosey about what dogs he does and doesn’t like but with steady introductions we think he will settle with a, probably small to medium sized, dog. We don’t have any history with cats but suspect he would probably chase.

Rocko loves a cuddle and will be a wonderful lapdog. Rocko has been through a lot and if he feels he is being manhandled, he has something to say about it. Rocko is a sweet boy and we think he could be around respectful children but would probably prefer to live in a child free home.
