Fig is not staying with us at kennels and is currently being rehomed direct from his current home. Fig was rehomed by BARK in October 2024. He has been a great dog in his home but sadly need to find a new home.

Fig’s ideal home will be one where there is at least one other easy going dog for company. A home with a large secure garden, although a fence of 5 foot would be sufficient. Someone who has time to work on his recall or work round it. He walks reasonably well on a figure of 8 halti. He could live with children but realistically they would need to be 10 and up.

Fig was born in April 2022. He is a big strong boy but a huge softy too. He appears to be great around all other animals including dogs, horses and birds and does not chase. He is good around people but very excitable and will jump up on first meeting unless precautions are taken.

He is a bright boy who knows how to open all doors and gates, so they have to be locked or have bolts on. His owners have found with firm boundaries he knows what is expected of him. He does however not have a huge desire to jump over walls.

He is in good health (he was very overweight when he came in but has kept off the weight he lost) is very loving.

If you feel you have want this lovely lad needs please complete and return an application form. Our normal rehoming area does not apply but you will need to travel to see Fig on at least three occasions. In putting an application form you acknowledge your details will be forwarded to his current owner who will then contact you direct.
