Lola
Lola was born February 28th 2021 had a rubbish start having had five homes and being abandoned tied to a gate, prior to arriving at another rescue after all that she was then due to be put to sleep, which is when we took her.
She has been very well behaved at kennels and although we understand she took a “pop” at a dog once, she has general ignored them in kennels but caution is needed due to her history.
We’ve found her one of the dogs we can walk with the dogs that don’t have too many manners and she shows them how it is done. She’s is very tolerant but she does have her limits.
She walks well on lead, loves to play and is very loving. When out on her walks she loves to say hello to people. Training classes are bound to be enjoyed by Lola although someone who wants to be out walking a lot will also give her so much pleasure
She is some type of husky cross? We have no history with children so would be looking for a home without resident children.
She took almost 4 months to decompress in kennels so any owner needs to realise she may need time in a new home. She would need a secure garden and to not be left for too long. Lola needs ongoing training as well as some extra training, so for example parkor or extended obedience to keep her mentally happy. She has been come a treasure at the kennels and will make a great addition in the right home. If you think you might meet Lola’s needs please complete and return an application form.
